Tunbridge Wells Singing Festival
On 10th June St Peter's took part in the Tunbridge Wells Singing Festival at the Assembly Halls. This event is a wonderful event including more than 300 primary school children over two nights from the schools around the area. Our choir members took part, singing songs within the theme 'Songs around the World'. It was a fantastic evening and the choir sang beautifully. Mrs Smith was very proud of all of them.
Singing at the Assembly Hall by Zadie M (Year 5)
It was very exciting at the Assembly Hall. Our school choir went to the Assembly hall to sing and it was so fun! We had to do lots of practising, but it was worth it. When we got there, we had to wait a few minutes before going on stage with about seven other schools. On the stage, it was scary and exciting at the same time. Sadly, we could not see our parents, but they could see us. It was so fun, singing the songs and I was smiling the whole time. Our choir was one of the smallest but we still sounded great. It was really fun at the end because our parents got to sing! I think that all of the audience loved it and my parents said that it was really good. I really enjoyed it and I wish that I could do the whole night again!
